Why Mumbai Police registers FIR against Alok Nath ?
Alok Nath, popularly known as "Sanskari Babuji" ironically is in trouble for being not so "Sanskari" in real life. We all are hearing a lot of news regarding the Me too movement where women are speaking out about sexual harassment incidents happened with them in past. Currently, the movement is very popular in Bollywood and the FIR against Alok Nath is also a result of that movement.
It's all started with a Facebook post of Vinta Nanda in which she accused actor Alok Nath of sexually harassed and assaulted her more than once. After her post, many other actresses came out and shared their own horrific experiences with Alok Nath.
After being accused by so many women especially actress Cine and Television Artistes Association (CINTAA) had summoned the actor to come up with an explanation regarding the accusations. The actor failed to submit any explanation as a result of which he was expelled by the association.
Vinita Nada who accused Alok Nath of rape launched an FIR against him in Oshiwara Police station in Mumbai. Police have registered an FIR against Alok Nath under section 376 of IPC (rape).
