It’s special in every way. Not only has it raised India’s hope for the upcoming World Cup, but it gave all the cricket fans to see their favorite, MS Dhoni in his full grandeur.
And most importantly, India won their first ever bilateral ODI series in Australia.
India won the final ODI against Australia yesterday at Melbourne by 2-1.
The stars of the show were Dhoni (87*) and Jadhav (61*), who chased a 121-run partnership together and lead the team to this glorious win.
Australia batted first and was restricted by the Indian bowlers (especially Yajuvendra Chahal) only at 230.

Although India’s start wasn’t good with Rohit Sharma’s early dismissal, Shikhar Dhawan maintained a steady pace and went on to play with Virat Kohli.
Virat-Dhoni partnership was also worth witnessing. Kohli getting edged-off by Richardson, however, gave way to Kedar Jadhav and to a wonderful partnership that resulted in the victory.
Jadhav played steady while Dhoni scored boundaries winning everyone’s heart.
