what is electronics?

Sir John Ambrose Fleming is known as the Father of Electronics. In simple terms, Electronics is a branch of science which deals with the study of electricity (flow of electrons) and other electrically charged particles. These are the circuits or the devices which comprise chips, transistors and many other components. Some examples of electronics are- Radio, Television, computers, etc.

Electronics have become very important in our day-to-day lives. Using Grinder in the kitchen to Vacuum cleaners and from DVD Players to Memory cards are all electronics.

The branch is physics and technology which deals with electric circuits which involves some active electronic components like transistors, diodes, integrated circuits and interconnection technologies. This is a study or flow of electrons and how they behave and effect on gases, vacuums and other devices which use electrone. There are different branches of electrons such as digital electronics, integrated circuits, microelectronics, telecommunications, audio electronic, power electronics, analogue electronic, circuit design etc.
