HRM or Human Resource management is part of the management process that develops and manages the human element of the enterprise considering the knowledge, skills, creativity, talents, and potential for contributing towards organizational objectives.

Human resource management involve determining the organisation need of human resource, recruitment and selecting the best employees, training development, compensation,g and rewarding the employees.

 

It also includes activities related to the government, trade unions, etc.

 

When this function is carried out at a small scale level in small organizations we call ita staffing function by line manager but when these functions are performed at a large scale or in a big organization then there is a need to create a separate department which is called the human resource management department.
