In the parliament the Prime Minister holds the position of the senior most member of the cabinet.He has the right to select & dismiss the members of the cabinet.He is the chairperson of the cabinet.The prime minister holds the final decision in case of disagreement of any decision between the two departments.He also keeps an eye & also supervises the various functions performed by the ministers.The prime minister can also sign his resignation letter anytime he wants & he can suggest the president to dissolve the cabinet.
