Born in Punjab ,Porus(Puru)was an ancient king of India whose territory spread in the region between Jhelum river & Chenab river.His death date is not confirmed but he reportedly died in between 321 and 315 BC.His father King Chandra Sen was the last Shoorsaini King.Porus was known as “Lord of the Mountains” because of his bravery & enthusiasm he was a true hero.Inspite of being a true hero,there are no books written on Porus & only he is remembered in the Alexander context.
