Who is rahul Tripathi?

Rahul Tripathi is an Indian international cricketer who plays for Maharashtra in domestic cricket and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is a right-handed batsman who is known for his aggressive batting style and his ability to hit the ball long and clean.

Tripathi was born in Ranchi, Jharkhand, on March 2, 1991. He made his domestic cricket debut for Maharashtra in 2012. He quickly established himself as a key player for the team, and in 2018-19, he was the leading run-scorer in the Ranji Trophy, with 504 runs in eight matches.

Tripathi marked his inaugural appearance in the IPL while playing for Rising Pune Supergiant in 2017. He had a successful debut season, scoring 391 runs in 12 matches. He was then bought by Rajasthan Royals in the 2018 IPL auction, and he played for them for two seasons. In 2020, he was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders, and he played for them for two seasons. In 2022, he was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Tripathi made his international debut for India in January 2023, in a T20I match against Sri Lanka. He has since played in three T20Is and one ODI for India.
