Who is the ICC Test Player of the year for 2011 -12?

The ICC Test Player of the Year Award is awarded in individual years. Therefore, the winner of the Award in 2011 was Jonathan Trott of England and the winner for 2012 was Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka.

Jonathan Trott is former cricketer from England. He made his international debut for England in a T20I against the West Indies on the 28th of June, 2007. He decided to retire from the game when he played his last ever international game for England in a test Match against the West Indies on the 1st of May, 2015.

Kumar Sangakkara is a former cricketer, who played for Sri Lanka. He made his international debut in an ODI match against Pakistan on the 5th of July, 2000. He then decided to take retirement from the game when he played his last game for Sri Lanka in a test match against India on the 20th August, 2015.
