Muhammad Ghori was on his way back to Ghazni after fighting in India. He got killed on March 15, 1205, but we don't know who did it. Some people think Khokar Jats did it, while others say it might have been the Nizari Ismaili Assassins.
Some stories in India say Prithviraj Chauhan killed Muhammad Ghori, but this doesn't match with other stories from that time. Also, Prithviraj Chauhan died before Muhammad Ghori, so it's probably not true.
