Why was Manish Sisodia arrested?

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) detained Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief governor of Delhi, on Sunday in connection with the now-cancelled revised alcohol tax scheme 2021–2022. His detention presents a number of difficulties for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration. Sisodia has led as much as Eighteen of the 33 ministries, serving as the spearhead of the AAP's educational agenda in Delhi. He was detained in relation to suspected accounting mismanagement in the Delhi Excise Policy, which has since been repealed. But, Arvind Kejriwal's AAP is suffering the most political damage as a result of this. Also, this detention will leave a huge gap in the Delhi administration, having a detrimental effect on both the city's economic plans and administrative procedures. Moreover, Sisodia's detention would provide the BJP an opportunity to question not just the AAP's anti-corruption promises but additionally the party's credibility as the AAP strives to spread throughout India's provinces after becoming a nationalist party.

Manish Sisodia's Importance towards Arvind Kejriwal:

Prior to the anti-corruption campaign led by Anna Hazare gaining traction, Kejriwal and Sisodia decided to work for their Organization. The former prosecutor started off as a supporting figure but had a strong foundation in the fields of press and innovation administration. With time, he evolved into the image of the Delhi administration. The initial supporter of Arvind Kejriwal's decision to create the Aam Aadmi Party from the Anna Hazare campaign was Manish Sisodia. Whenever people from different backgrounds were present, the initial AAP years were clearly distinguishable. The late Shanti Bhushan, poet Kumar Viswas, and activists Yogendra Yadav and Sanjay Singh entered the AAP, along with Prashant Bhushan and his dad. Although Sisodia has been in control of the bulk of significant ministries since the AAP administration was formed, Arvind Kejriwal has never had a responsibility. Sisodia was in charge of about 18 out of the 33 ministries when Satyendar Jain, the AAP member and minister of health, was detained by the Crime Branch. Sisodia served as both the public image of the Delhi administration and the 'education revolution,' the AAP's main ideological tenet.

How would the AAP govt run the party smoothly?

The AAP has previously been certain that it truly intends to spread throughout Country. Kejriwal is notable for concentrating his efforts exclusively on places in which the Congress is more powerful. But an aspirant AAP would need to consider several issues now that Sisodia has been taken into custody. AAP-ruled Punjab, another region, has already been experiencing increased crime and other problems. On the one side, the AAP leadership would encounter difficulties in the management of the Delhi government as well as nationwide affairs. The AAP is beginning to lose its uniqueness and evolving into a combative, dramatics political group that emulates the BJP but lacks its experience. Kejriwal should take this opportunity to reinvigorate the government's platform on a number of topics. By adhering to the BJP's rules, the AAP would never have been capable of defeating it. Only support for the resistance outside of Delhi and Punjab could be lost. If the AAP wishes to achieve its goals, it must develop a new approach which is fewer arrogant, better varied, and rooted in its history.
