An ingredient in chocolate theobromine is harmful for your dog. A small amount of chocolate will probably give your dog an upset stomach with vomiting or diarrhea. But if you are giving a large amount of chocolate, theobromine can produce muscle tremors, seizures, an irregular heartbeat, internal bleeding or a heart attack.
