Do you think Indian team can make a comeback in test series against England?

The English team is leading the 5-match series with 2-1, after phenomenal victories at Edgbaston and Lords in the first 2 matches. The Virat Kohli-led squad did ***** an incredible 203-runs win over England in the third test match. If you’re an Indian supporter, the latest match was a delightful all-round feat with nearly the entire team playing in singularity, delivering some memorable performances.

Captain Virat Kohli knocked 97 and 103 in two innings, proving yet again why he’s the best in the game right now. Hardik Pandya yet again silenced his critics with 360 magic, taking 5 wickets and scoring a half-century. From openers KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan to top-middle pillars Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteswar Pujara—the batsmen took charge of the innings, ensuring the team stands strong throughout.

While Rishabh Pant left no doubts just how great of a batsman he is, in the third test in this 5-match series against England, he also silenced the skeptics who doubted his wicket-keeping skills. In the bowling department, Ashwin, Ishant, and Shami did fair, keeping the English batsman on the back-foot throughout the match.

All in all, this was one of the best matches yet in this test series against England for the Indian fans. BUT the biggest question right now is if India can ***** a series victory from this point.

As disheartening as it is, the answer is NO. India is playing good. And for the 4th and 5th match, the team has (rightly) decided to ditch Murali Vijay and Kuldeep Yadav after their disappointing performances and bring in young Prithvi Shaw and Hanuma Vihari. A lot is expected from these 2 test debutants and they will likely play tremendously. However, even then, even when Captain Virat Kohli does amazing work, it’s very difficult to beat England in England for 2 straight test matches. It’s difficult. And to win the series, the Indian team has to do exactly that, which seems quite unlikely. England doesn’t even need to win any of the 2-remaining matches. They can just push the plays to draws and it would do the trick for them.

In short, it would be fairly absurd to hope that Captain Virat Kohli and his team would manage to defeat England team for 2 straight matches. But then again, as fans, we can only hope that they pull this miraculous comeback.
