Banana fritter is one of those homemade snacks that feel comforting, sweet and perfect with evening tea. Ripe bananas are usually preferred because they naturally add softness and sweetness to the fritters.

To prepare them, banana slices are dipped into a batter made with ingredients like gram flour, a little rice flour and mild flavoring ingredients. Some people also add:
cardamom,
cinnamon,
or coconut

to enhance aroma and sweetness naturally.

Interesting thing is that the texture matters a lot. If the batter is balanced properly and oil temperature is correct, the fritters become crispy outside while staying soft inside.

Different regions prepare banana fritters differently. Some versions taste more dessert-like, while others include slightly spicy flavor combinations too.

Freshly prepared banana fritters are usually enjoyed with tea because the warm sweetness creates a comforting homemade feeling.
