What are the reviews of “Stree”?

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starrer, Stree has already surpassed the expectations of its makers by collecting Rs. 6.2 crore on the first day at box office. The horror movie, despite being an Indian horror movie, is winning hearts all over, and the star cast is not the only reason for it.
The reviewers have given it 3-3.5 stars on an average, and thus reads a tweet giving an overwhelming review:
“#Stree ... what a delightful horror comedy. Amazing work as a debutant director by my friend @amarkaushik . Super writing and excellent performances by the entire cast.”
Stree, as you might be knowing, is a horror-comic parable, based on an Urban legend of Karnataka, Nabel Ba. According to the legend, it was believed,in the 90’s, that a witch roamed around town and knocked on people’s houses, speaking in the voice of a kin. Those who opened the door, were found to be dead in the next 24 hours.
Director, Amar Kaushik and writers, Raj and DK, took the legend and tweaked it to form a comic-ridden, horror story, which is spooky as well as uncanny:
One of the major attractions and entertainment element of the movie is the meme-turned song of Badshah, Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe. So, if you are a full-packed masala movie lover, Stree should be your priority this weekend.
