Perception itself can be a little vague, but it is a complex process. We can discuss on some processes.

1) Receptor process – The first process in perception is the receptor process. Receptor is kind of cell which responds to light, heat or other external stimulus.
2) Unification process – This is the second step in the main process. For a perception of rose, a unification of the different sensations is necessary.
3) Symbolic process – This process is includes, with our daily life, we know that most things have an experienced attached to it. A rose reminds of the friend who created in us the interest for roses. The flower symbolizes the friend. Thus, every time we perceive a rose, this symbolic process makes it much more than just a rose.
4) Affective process – This, too, is attached to perception, because a flower may also represent a happy memory of a friend or a feeling of sorrow at separation.
These mentioned processes for perception can be applied in the dairy cycle and there can be more processes than mentioned here.
