What is screen resolution?

Screen resolution can be defined as the number of pixels that a screen can show both horizontally and vertically. The unit to measure screen resolution is Pixels per Inch (PPI). The ideal screen resolution to have is 1080p. Screen resolution is very important as it helps you in measuring the quality of digital images and videos. The higher the resolution, the more the pixels and you will get better a better quality of the image.
