Technology has progressed a lot today and so is its usage. We can’t even imagine the times now when there was absolutely no mode of communication and people had to travel long distances to send and receive messages.
Thanks to Alexander Graham Bell and his assistant Tom Watson that Telephone was invented in 1876, which was a technique for easy communication.
Some years after that, one more new technology was invented, which is known as mobile phone. The very first mobile phone was Motorola, launched in 1973, by John F. Mitchell and Martin Cooper. It weighed 2 kgs. Motorola’s DynaTAC 8000x Model was first used in 1983 for business purposes.
After that mobile phones starting flooding the market. Mobile phones now have progressed a lot in terms of technology and feature addition. For example, earlier mobile phones showed only the number of the caller and not his name. But the new technology used by “truecaller” app enabled you to see the names of even those people whose name was not saved in your contact list. Its development was initiated by Blackberry on 1st July, 2009.
Recently, “Truecaller” introduced one new feature. With this feature, we can record the calls. Right now, the company is giving free trial of 14 days, but after that the user will have to pay for availing the service. With this feature, it will be easier to report harassment and frauds, if any. Truecaller has hence made the communication safer. It will help the people from all the categories (businesspersons, students, and women) to communicate with the world safely. The feature comes in the premium package along with “who viewed your profile”.
