Depending on your current skills or situation, there are a number of visas available to foreign nationals wishing to permanently immigrate to Canada. There is a spouse visa (if you are a foreign national married to a Canadian citizen), family visas or Express Entry and/or provincial nomination programs (if you have unique skills or requirements which make you a hot commodity in a particular field or industry), and more. Please send your resume for the assessment of your case.

If your goal is to become a permanent resident of Canada, the most common option is to apply for a Canada PR Visa through one of these programs:

  1. Express Entry – This is the most popular way. It’s for skilled workers. You need to create a profile, get points based on your age, education, work experience, and language skills (IELTS). If your score is high enough, you get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for PR.

  2. Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) – If you have lower points in Express Entry, you can apply through a province that needs workers in your field. If they nominate you, you get extra points which almost guarantee PR.

  3. Family Sponsorship – If your spouse, parent, or close relative is already a Canadian PR or citizen, they can sponsor you.

  4. Study or Work Route – Some people go to Canada first on a study permit or work permit, get Canadian experience, and then apply for PR through Express Entry (Canadian Experience Class).
