Who is the best batsman in this IPL season 2019?

With how MS Dhoni has been finishing the matches as of late for CSK, as a fan, he certainly looks to be the very best in this tournament, pulling some of the most enthralling innings.

But then numbers tell otherwise. This season, after 39 matches, MS Dhoni stands as the 11th highest run-getter.

On the list of the most run scorers, with the Orange cap, David Warner tops. Playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad, in 9 matches, David Warner has scored 517 runs with an average of 73.85. The strike rate is 148.56.

The second on this list is Warner's own teammate from SRH Jonny Bairstow. In 9 matches, he has scored 445 runs with Superman-like strike rate of 158.46.

Of course, as the tournament progresses, there would be a lot of movements on this list. However, with the kind of form David Warner is in, and the way his team Sunrisers Hyderabad is performing, there's a very good chance that he would remain the best batsman in this IPL till the very last, taking home his Orange cap.
