After the whole controversy and heartbreaks on the five-time world player of the year Cristiano Ronaldo leaving his current team Real Madrid, the things have finally been settled in the favor of Italian football club, Juventus.
As the news reports tell, it’s a huge loss for the Spanish club as Ronaldo was its all-time highest scorer with 451 goals in all competitions. The team says that Real Madrid will always remain Ronaldo’s “home”. He had joined Real Madrid in 2008, leaving Manchester United for the then record of 80 Million pounds. Ronaldo has also won two La Liga titles and four champion league trophies with Real Madrid.
Juventus, who has not won any European title since 1996, have their hopes rekindled with the Portuguese player joining them. As for Real Madrid, Ronaldo will always be its “greatest symbol and a unique reference for the generations to come”.
What is to be seen now is whether the fans and supporters of Real Madrid will shift their inclinations towards Juventus or will they keep supporting Real Madrid, after the team’s star player’s transitional move.
