The latest addition in at Madame Tussauds Delhi is everyone’s favorite Indian cricketer, and the captain of Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli. He’s the third cricketer to have his wax statue at this prestigious museum after legendary Kapil Dev and Sachin Tendulkar.
It’s a moment of happiness for the fans of Kohli that the museum unveiled his statue last on Wednesday, 4th July, but I’m a bit disappointed that he got his statue there while M. S. Dhoni did not. His achievements are commendable and he totally deserves it, but so does Dhoni. It must be a proud moment for him that he has joined the most famous sportspersons like Lionel Messi, David Beckham, Usian Bolt, and Kapil Dev.
Wearing Indian ODI jersey, his statue is so lively that it seems as if he’s about to hit a boundary.
"I sincerely appreciate the efforts and incredible work undergone in making my figure. Thanks to Madame Tussauds for choosing me for this lifetime experience. I am grateful to my fans for their love and support.” Says Virat Kohli upon this happy occasion.
