I have never been on a vacation abroad so I would be talking about the Indian places I enjoyed visiting with my family.
India being a country with diverse topography and more diverse culture has to offer a lot, be it any part of it.
Some places are popular because of its hills, some have rich cultural heritage and some have amazing street food. Based on all this, the following places are worth visiting with family.
Srinagar
The main attraction here is Dal Lake, and trust me it is enough to impress you. Another major attraction is the Jhelum River. Srinagar has many such twisting waterways that enhance the beauty of the town.
Visit the place with your family to spend some days floating on the lake in pretty Shikaras.
Dalhousie
This hill station is best known for its colonial history and its lush green beauty. It is still the summer retreat for families as it was in the time of Lord Dalhousie. The architecture of the colonial era and the streets which makes walking a fashion for its inhabitants are worth a try, really.

Ooty

Mysore
Mysore or Mysuru is another South Indian tourist place which gives you the best experience when visited with family. Situated in Karnataka, it is called the City of Palaces and is visited by millions of tourists every year for its rich cultural heritage.
Besides all this, Mysore Palace is magnanimous to behold.
Siliguri
It is a city in Darjeeling, West Bengal. The hills and the picturesque view will surely steal your heart here. Besides, the spots like Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary, Tea Gardens, Dudhia, and Science City are the places worth visiting here.
