The first ever tribal woman President of India is Ms. Droupadi Murmu. She is not only the first ever tribal person to hold the office, but is also, only the second woman to be the President of India after former president, Pratibha Patil. Before being elected as the President of India, she was the Governor of Jharkhand and a minister of the Odisha Government. She is considered to be the youngest President in the history of India, ever since Neelam Sanjiva Reddy was elected unopposed in the year 1977, being 64 at the time.
