Henri Fayol was a French engineer. He is considered to be the 'father of modern management theory'. Along with being an engineer, he was also a mining executive and an author and director of mines. His other side-professions were economist, engineer and entrepreneur. He also developed a general theory regarding business administration that he unanimously people called, Fayolism. He also proposed that there were 6 various kinds of organizational activities.
