Philip Kotler is an American marketing expert and professor. He is widely regarded as the "father of modern marketing" and has made significant contributions to the field of marketing over the course of his career.
Kotler is a professor of marketing at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he has taught since 1962. He has written more than 60 books on marketing, including the widely used textbook "Marketing Management," which has been translated into over 25 languages.
