Honda has recently issued a recall for its 7,290 units to replace the EPS column in the new-gen Honda Amaze after inspection if required, voluntarily. According to the reports, this will be done to the affected new-gen Honda Amaze models which were manufactured from 17 April 2018 to 24 May 2018, because they have a possibility of the driver feeling the steering heavier, while the EPS indicator light comes on.
The replacement of the EPS sensors will be done free of cost by the company units, starting from July 26, 2018. “Customers can themselves check whether their car is eligible for the inspection or not by submitting their 17 character alpha-numeric Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the special microsite created on the company's website”, says NDTV news.
This decision will certainly better up the experience of new-gen Honda Amaze users.
