Why was SAARC formed and by whom?

SAARC was formed as regional cooperation in 1985. The founding members of the SAARC

organization are India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives & Afghanistan

which joined them in the year 2005. It has been continuously working towards uplifting the poor of

their relevant countries, trying to improve their opportunities and standards of living by giving

them facilities and enhancing their daily lives by solving their basic problems. The results act as an

inspiration for the development of future projects in SAARC & South Asia. The various education,

health, social and livelihood project\'s funding has helped the people far a lot and will continue to do

so.

The unique partnerships of these countries provide the base for PPP, Public-Private Partnership in
