Am I a Gen Z or a Millennial?

Easy answer: Gen Z was born roughly 1997 to 2012, Millennials roughly 1981 to 1996. Check your birth year first. It's not about the music you like or memes you understand. Gen Z grew up entirely online and are digital native. Millennials remember pre internet life and witnessed the transition.

For example if you got your first smartphone before high school you're probably Gen Z. If you remember dial up internet you're a Millennial. These labels are becoming less meaningful every year. Your actual experiences matter more than generational labels anyway.
