The exams that were scheduled from august 9 for Railway Recruitment of loco-pilots and technicians were postponed due to the calamities and disasters that have befallen on Kerala.
Due to the inability of candidates to reach to the exam centers and appear for the exams, the exam date had been shifted to September 4, 2018. The incessant floods and heavy rains was the reason for the postponement of the exam in which around 48 lakh candidates are appearing for 66,502 vacancies.
