I got to understand this role while working with an audit team. An Information Systems Auditor basically checks whether a company’s IT systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with standards. They review processes, identify risks, and suggest improvements. It’s a mix of technical knowledge and analytical thinking. The role is important because companies rely heavily on digital systems now. I noticed that auditors don’t just find problems; they also help improve systems. It’s a responsible role that requires attention to detail and understanding of both technology and business processes.
