Honestly, Indian summers are brutal so don't cheap out on sunscreen. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer and Cetaphil work fine for everyday use. If you want Indian brands, Lotus and Mamaearth are decent options but expensive for what they do. La Roche Posay Anthelios is excellent but costs around 1500 rupees. The real deal is consistency, most people apply too little so they don't get the protection they think. You need to reapply every two hours, especially if you're sweating in this heat.
- Apply properly (at least 1/4 teaspoon per face)
- Reapply every 2 hours or after swimming
- SPF 30+ minimum, SPF 50 for outdoors
- Consistency matters more than brand
