Panchakarma ("panch" signifies five and "karma" signifies treatment) is a five-overlay ayurvedic treatment which goes for purging the Doshas and poisons from the body for a total detoxification. Ayurveda accepts that detoxification of the body through Panchakarma is basic before experiencing any significant treatment.
