What is the reason behind the conflict between CBI and Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee?

Recently, CBI officials stormed at Kolkata Police Commissioner, Rajiv Kumar’s official residence to arrest him for the 2013 Sharda Chit Fund. As the officials did not have any arrest warrant, they were arrested by the police force on duty and taken to the police station.

Although the officials were released later, the whole matter has stirred a political fight between Mamta Banerjee and the central government. The government of West Bengal has decided to take the matter to the Supreme Court against the Modi government.
The Sharda Chit Fund controversy was stirred up in 2013. According to this controversy, the public got duped for its 13000 crore rupees. The enquiry committee set up at that time to look into the matter found out Commissioner Rajiv Kumar as one of the culprits.
Supreme Court has temporarily restricted any enquiry with or arrest of the commissioner till 13th February.
CM Mamta Banerjee has accused the central government of misusing CBI. She even asserted that the raid at Rajiv Kumar’s residence was done on the commands of Amit Shah and PM Narendra Modi. It was today that the CM was going to file a petition in SC.
