TikTok and Helo are two applications which are widely popular in India with a large user base. Recently, after getting a complaint, Indian Government has sent a document of 21 different questions to these two applications. The major question in this list is related to the provocative comments that users post on the videos on this app. The question asks about the monitoring of such comments.

The companies have also received the warning of the apps being banned in India.
The companies have received the notice from Electronics and Technology Ministry. One more question in the list deals with Child Privacy. Even kids who are below 13 years of age can create an account on Helo and TikTok. Both the companies are asked to follow the Indian Constitution and make these apps inaccessible for juveniles. Both the companies have agreed to heed to the instructions of the government.
