I would suggest you not to go for any Indian TV series because right now, all of them *****. No kidding. The era of good Indian TV series like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and Khichdi has gone past and currently, Indian TV has nothing refreshing to offer except fictionalized historical and mythological shows, poorly fantasized daily soaps, and unrealistic and unrelatable saas-bahu serials.
If you actually want a substantial source of entertainment, there are a lot of English series, not just on television but on various online streaming sites as well which will force you to leave everything and binge watch each and every one of them.
Listed below are some of my favorites:
Even if you haven’t watched it, there is no chance that you haven’t heard its name. One of the most hyped and talked about series of this decade, Game of Thrones is an adaptation of G. R. R. Martin’s series of books, The Song of Ice and Fire. Although it has ended now, you can find the whole series in any online video streaming site.

It is the tale of the greatest hero of his own age, Ragnar Lothbrok. The story relates Ragnar’s journey and adventures to become the king of Vikings Tribe. You must watch the series for its dialogues, characters, and epic battles.
3. Sacred Games
It is the first Netflix original Indian series. Directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, the second season of the series
is much awaited for the craze that its first season created. It had amazing cast including Nawazuddin Siddique, Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, etc.
The adaptation of a novel of the same name, it can be watched for everything that it has to offer.
4. Stranger Things
Its genre speaks for itself: mystery, science fiction, and horror. Isn’t it a perfect blend? Stanger Things relates the story of teenagers in the settings of 80s. In it, a boy disappears and then his acquaintaces fight with several natural and supernatural forces to get him back.
Do I need to say anything about this one? It’s not possible that you haven’t heard the name of Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Phoebe, Joey, and Monica. They are not just characters but emotions that every 20 something feels, no matter how early or late in their twenties they watched the series.
For one thing, Benedict Cumberbatch is playing the protagonist and for another, the series is the modern interpretation of Arthur Canon Doyle’s amazing Sherlock stories having Victorian humor and wit.
