Who is the father of nation?

Mahatma Gandhi was the greatest political leader of India.for his great contribution to the country,the Indians respectfully call him the 'father of the Nation'.He was born on October 2,1869 at Porbandar in Gujrat.He went to England to become a Barrister.He began his political career by way of protest against the British rulers.However, Gandhiji was not a great political leader but also a great man.
