Has Salman Khan-s Being Human Foundation got black listed?

Salman Khan’s NGO Being Human foundationhas been news for a while and is facing a lot of backlash by Brihan mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and speculation is it is going to be black listed by the civic body. BMC has issued a notice against the organization for failing to complete the allotted project to set up dialysis units in Bandra. It has been over a year and the project has not made any progress.

BMC’s PPP (public private partnership) had the project of setting up 12 dialysis centres and 199 dialysis machines in the city that can easily perform around 10,000 procedures every month. They provided the space for the facility while the Being Human Foundation would take care of the maintenance and the staff and was supposed to set up 24 dialysis machines at Bandra’s Allied Cooperative Society in Pali Hill.

Loretta Lewis, a spokesperson of the NGO, has however said that the NGO hasn’t signed any formal contract/ MoU ( Memorandum of Understanding) with the civic body.
