There is huge speculation right now about Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. He took power after his father, Ali Khamenei, was killed in February 2026, but Mojtaba has not been seen in public since early March. Reports suggest he was wounded during recent airstrikes, leading many to believe the Iranian government is deliberately hiding the true extent of his injuries.
While Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian recently claimed to have met with him, absolutely no photographic or video evidence was provided. The regime has only released written statements from Mojtaba. It has fueled intense global rumors that his health condition is significantly worse than officials are currently willing to publicly admit today.
