I’ve been creating content for 4 years but no growth—what should I do?

Okay real talk - if you're getting zero growth after 4 years, something fundamental is broken. Either your content quality isn't there, you're not consistent enough, you're on wrong platform, or you're not understanding algorithm.

Look at successful people in your niche. What are they doing that you're not? Are you copying formats or doing something original? YouTube cares about watch time and engagement, not just uploads.

Instagram cares about retention and shares. Different platforms, different rules. Maybe change direction entirely - try new format, new niche, new platform. 4 years is long but sometimes success takes luck + timing + quality combined. Honest question: are you actually good at this or just pushing for growth?

Maybe you're just not good at content creation and that's okay. Not everyone is meant to be a creator. Instead of forcing growth for 4 years, maybe try something you're actually talented at. Some people get lucky and blow up, most don't, it's not just about effort. You could accept a small loyal audience and stop chasing metrics. Or switch careers entirely. Wasting 4 years chasing something that isn't working is exhausting. Life is short. If you don't genuinely enjoy the process of creating, why torture yourself for metrics? In India especially, there's pressure to be YouTuber or influencer but those are not careers for everyone. If you're good at something else, do that instead.
