Metal roofs can be two to three times more expensive than the other roofing material.During a heavy thunderstorm metal roofs can become the nosiest.As the temperatures changes the metal expands & contracts.This expansion & contraction of the metal again & again can damage the roofing .A big factor is Metal rusts.Metal roofs are very much slippery when they are wet or covered with snow.So,places all the year covered with snow are least advisable to have a metal roof.
