With Iran's newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, missing from the public eye due to reported injuries, day-to-day operations are heavily reliant on other prominent figures. Currently, the nation's administration is essentially being managed by a tight circle of top officials.

President Masoud Pezeshkian is acting as the primary public face of the government. He is handling domestic and diplomatic affairs. Additionally, powerful institutions like the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps maintain immense operational control over national security and military actions.

Furthermore, figures from the Interim Leadership Council, including Chief Justice Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, hold significant influence. Together, these unelected military commanders and key political elites are effectively running the country behind closed doors.
