The political drama in Tamil Nadu reached a boiling point today as AMMK leader TTV Dhinakaran leveled serious allegations against Vijay's TVK party. Dhinakaran claims that the letters of support Vijay presented to Governor Rajendra Arlekar—intended to bridge the 10-seat gap to reach a majority—contain forged signatures of several independent and smaller party MLAs.
According to Dhinakaran, these MLAs never authorized their names to be used. This move appears to be a strategic attempt to block Vijay’s path to the Chief Minister’s office. If the Governor’s office finds any merit in these "forgery" claims, it could trigger a criminal investigation and completely derail TVK’s attempt to form the government, potentially leading the state toward President’s Rule.
