Yes, Computers need air conditioning. In fact most of the facilities that host servers are made in cold environments. Every high-powered computer has a liquid cooling system to cool it so that it can work properly.

Cooling systems help dissipate the heat produced by the semiconductors that make a computing system.

If the systems are not cooled properly then the computing chips may degrade and even explode if they are over worked all the time.

Yes, because if you work on computer system you feel it generate heat and after some time this heat increases. Most of the computers use air cooled system which is fan. If we check the bottom side of laptop there is a small space for ventilation through which heat released easily. If this heat not release and computer get heated then we will be face some malfunctioning in the computer system.
