If we focus on Modi’s interview records, we will see that he doesn’t like facing questions. No journalist or news reporter can stand in front of Narendra Modi’s political prowess. Modi plays his own league of politics. His media management is invincible and impregnable, and yet he never wants to face the questions of media. After Modi came to power no one could overlook the questions that were posed on media and its credibility.

Today, almost all the news channels feed us propaganda on behalf of the ruling party. No channel is courageous enough to practice the journalism for criticizing those in power or to bring into light the deeds done by BJP so far. It is almost as if Modi is not the Prime Minister but god, who is feared by all.
In such a situation, Ravish Kumar is one journalist who remains true to the idea of democracy and the freedom of the press. BJP is unable to influence or buy him to sell the news in its favor.
Just like Modi has its own way of playing the political cards, Ravish Kumar has his own way of going about journalism. He does not glorify or demonize any political leader, but questions all of them. Ravish Kumar’s questions are urgent and address the most significant problems of the nation. His concerns incorporate Indian villages, poverty, unemployment, farmers, and students. Obviously, these are exactly those questions about which no BJP politician wants to talk.
Not only Modi but his media management team too knows it very well that if such questions are asked to him, he won’t be able to answer them satisfactorily. Ravish Kumar’s questions can make Modi (and the whole BJP) uncomfortable. And that’s why Narendra Modi will never appear on NDTV for an interview with Ravish Kumar.
Modi only believes in fixed interviews where he himself decides what questions will be asked to him.
