Last year in August, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a part of the show, which took place in the Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand. That particular episode, as was later revealed by Bear Grylls himself, generated 3.6 billion impressions, becoming the world’s most trending televised event. Later, Discovery Channel, too, said that the episode featuring PM Modi got 6.1 million tune-ins, which is the highest ever for the infotainment genre.

Rajnikanth flew into Mysore on Monday. Bear Grylls got there on Tuesday Morning. The two did the shooting for about 6 hours.
There are also several reports that Rajnikanth suffered very minor injuries. He fell on Lantana shrub and got minor scratches on his arm and ankle. But the shooting happened as planned and got finished successfully.
Rajnikanth returned back to Chennai after the shooting. Bear Grylls, however, would stay back in Karnataka for anotherMan vs. Wild episode with Akshay Kumar, which is scheduled to be shot on Thursday in the same Bandipur Tiger Reserve.

Again, not many details have surfaced. We’re not sure when these Man vs. Wild episodes featuring Superstar Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar will telecast. But as is expected, both the stars, in the wilderness, with one of the world’s top adventurers, will make for exciting TV.
