The Indian education system remains relevant today, as it provides a strong foundation for rigorous academics. However, it continues to face challenges such as insufficient focus on practical skills, test-related stress, and unequal access to quality education. While the system is evolving and functional, it must prioritize advancements toward practical, skill-based, and student-centered learning to remain fully relevant in an increasingly dynamic world.

It’s a mix. While the NEP 2020 brought much-needed flexibility, the system still leans heavily on rote learning. It’s relevant for foundational knowledge, but it’s struggling to keep pace with the hyper-fast tech world. It’s evolving, but the relevant label is currently under heavy construction.

The Indian education system remains relevant today but needs modernization, practical skills, and innovation to match global standards and evolving career demands.
