The blood clotting symptoms include breathlessness, chest pain, pain and swelling in limbs, red spots in the area other than the site of injection, prolonged abdominal pain with vomiting, seizures, severe headache with or without vomiting, weakness of limbs at any particular side, persistent vomiting, blurred vision, eye pain, double vision, altered level of consciousness etc. According to the Adverse Event Following Immunization Committee, 26 cases were reviewed of thromboembolism in patients taking covishield and the reporting rate was about 0.61 cases per million doses.
