Well to start with, Thugs of Hindostan is based on an 1839 English novel, Confessions of a Thug, written by Philip Meadows Taylor.
Despite the trailer being disappointing, the movie was much anticipated, but the final verdict of both audience and critics was not satisfactory. The reviews are mourning such a waste of the next-to-perfect duo of Amitabh Bacchan and Amir Khan.
If you want to know whether you should consider watching the movie, I would say time is a precious time and worth saving rather than wasting it on the movie.
